Don’t you just hate when your glasses get rain drops on them?! I built this MOC for the February 2016 LOLUG Iron Builder challenge. The seed part is the trans-clear 1x1 round plate. My first inspiration was to use them on glasses, but needed a scene to be viewed through them.

An Afternoon at the Playground

A build for LOLUG’s Iron Builder competition. The ‘seed’ part is the Technic Friction Pin. I used as the recycled-tires for the ground of the play area. High Quality Images Close Up From the Corner From the Front Water Park The LUG’s next Iron Builder seed part was the trans-clear 1x1 round plate, so I jokingly transformed they playground into a water park.

LEGO Color Palette

LEGO.gpl is a Gimp color palette file that can be used to get LEGO colors inside of Gimp or Inkscape. Information The palette is based on LEGO’s 2010 color palette. Only the ‘Solid’ colors were included (not the ‘Transparent’ or ‘Effect’ colors).

LEGO Whitening

Origional: 2014-10-26 Updated: 2019-11-06 My biggest complaint about LEGOs in terms of quality was that older pieces, especially white ones, would yellow over time, especially in direct sunlight. The yellowing is due to a chemical process, which can be reversed using hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)and Oxy-clean.
